1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SalimPay, These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our peer-to-peer money transfer app. By downloading, accessing, or using SalimPay, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the app.

2. Who Can Use SalimPay

  • 2.1. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts under UAE law.
  • 2.2. Registration requires you to provide accurate, complete, and current personal information at all times. You must be a legal resident of the United Arab Emirates to register for and use SalimPay services.

3. The Service

  • 3.1. SalimPay enables you to send and receive money with other users in the UAE.

3.1.1. Transaction Rules, Fees & Limits

a. Fees & Charges

SalimPay does not currently impose any service fees for transactions. Any applicable charges are those imposed by your bank.

b. Transaction Limits

The current maximum monthly transaction volume is AED 350 per month. This limit may be increased or adjusted at SalimPay’s sole discretion, subject to regulatory compliance. SalimPay reserves the right to implement additional daily, weekly, or monthly limits as needed.

c. Holds, Reversals & Recalls

Transactions may be placed on hold, reversed, or recalled in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and the rules of partner banks or payment service providers.

d. Unauthorized Transactions & Reporting

You must notify SalimPay immediately if you suspect any unauthorized transaction. SalimPay’s liability for unauthorized transactions will be determined in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

e. Error Resolution

If you believe a transaction error has occurred, you must report it immediately to SalimPay. SalimPay will investigate and respond within 30 days.

f. Refund Policy for Mistaken Transfers

In cases of mistaken transfers, SalimPay cannot guarantee refund success in all cases.

j. Fraud Freezes

SalimPay reserves the right to freeze transactions or accounts if fraudulent activity is suspected, pending investigation.

  • 3.2. You can add contacts, send, and receive payments through the app.

4. User Obligations

  • 4.1. You agree not to use SalimPay for fraudulent, illegal, or money-laundering activities.
  • 4.2. You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and transactions.
  • 4.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1. SalimPay relies on third-party service providers to operate certain features of the app, including but not limited to payment initiation providers (such as Lean Technologies) and communication services (such as SMS gateways). These third parties help us deliver core functionality.

5.2. We are entitled to update or change service providers in the future without prior notice. All third-party providers are contractually obligated to handle your data responsibly and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. 5.3. SalimPay is not responsible for disruptions, errors, or issues caused by third-party services.

5.4. When interacting with third-party services, their terms of service and privacy policies apply, such as Lean Technologies’ terms and privacy policy when using their services.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SalimPay if you violate these terms. If your account is terminated or suspended, any pending transfers initiated before the date of termination will be processed unless prohibited by law or compliance requirements. SalimPay reserves the right to hold or reverse such transfers if there is suspicion of fraud, unlawful activity, or violation of these Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
